NEW INSTALLATIONS: WATERMINER fully treats raw-sewage in 15 minutes, meaning dramatically less deck space is required for bio-chemical process system retention needs. WATERMINER processes as the sewage comes from the ships cabins and restaurants.
Meaning no time for difficult dry crusted paper surfaces on bio-chemical membrane aeration tanks.
VERY COMPACT & HIGH FLOW CAPABILITY: single WATERMINER reactors are designed with up to 1,000,000 litre per day flow capacity, utilizing a total footprint of approximately 7m x 15m: plus influent equalization tankage of ~6-8 hours, and sludge dewatering equipment (~5kg dried per 1,000,000 litres).
This example 8 reactor WATERMINER scale plant design will service 8,000,000 litres per day of raw mixed, restuarant FOG laced wash-water, showers and sewage flows.
BILGE WATER CLEANING
WATERMINER’s core electro-coagulation and electro-oxidation technology, EC/EO, is very capable at removing generally; BOD, COD, heavy metals, hydrocarbons and many of the more exotic contaminants such as found in the VOC’s category. Because of this, EC and EO, though as two separate devices, are utilized globally to reduce these types of contaminants.
WATERMINER , however, in testing results, is typically much more effective due to the insitu embedded combination of these two sciences. As a combo technology a WATERMINER plant is also more compact and controllable than any conventional EC/EO we are aware of.
WATERMINER is appropriate as an on-board, on-barge or on-shore solution, where in the last two instances the WATERMINER is a very good tool for water treatment vendor companies to offer to their clients in industry.
POTENTIAL: EXHAUST GAS SCRUBBER WATER
WATERMINER is a very versatile reactor and platform.
WATERMINER platforms are essentially identical for cleaning raw sewage, bilge water and exhaust scrubber water; separately or in blended flows. Only the operating parameters change to accommodate the varied water influents compatible with WATERMINER.
- NOTE: there will be variations in the platform itself to accommodate different industrial installation safety requirements found on-board ships or oil platforms. These variations are to be determined with our client along with our OEM and installation partner Valence Water.
WATERMINER platforms can be switched from any compatible influent, to any other compatible influent, easily and quickly due to our unique 15 min on/off capabilities.
Offshore Oil Rigs
WATERMINER is very suited to treating a multitude of wastewaters from oil rigs: raw sewage for flushing re-use or wash down, bilge water, exhaust scrubber water.
WATERMINER will be a new technology in this space, and so after successful laboratory effluent testing confirmations, we will require a very industry leading company to build a small but economical W350 demo unit to offshore oil rig safety and compliance standards, and deploy it on a “proof of performance” oil platform pilot.
WATERMINER is also a very capable and effective vendor operated, barge or shore based, oil platform wastewater treatment option.
